Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Colorado Springs - South is a new extended stay hotel ideally located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, close to I-24 and popular destinations like the Leon Young Sports Complex, Panorama Park, grocery stores, shopping, and dining options. This property specializes in providing extended stay accommodations perfect for business travelers, vacationers, and individuals relocating to the area. The hotel offers a wide range of amenities, including fully equipped kitchens, free Wi-Fi, a complimentary healthy breakfast, and ample space for working, dining, and relaxing. We are currently seeking a General Manager to join our vibrant team. As the General Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our hotel’s success, responsible for leading the property’s day-to-day operations, enhancing financial outcomes, and ensuring exceptional service levels. Your leadership will be vital in steering the sales strategies, managing budgets, and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role demands a strategic thinker with outstanding organizational skills, capable of harnessing technology and data to make informed decisions.

In this role, you will act as both a visionary and an operational expert, inspiring and supporting your team to deliver five-star guest experiences consistently. Your ability to build and sustain great relationships is crucial, as you will serve as the hotel’s ambassador to owners, local communities, and business partners. Your responsibilities will extend beyond operational management to include tactical sales initiatives to boost revenue and control costs, ensuring the property’s profitability.

The General Manager will also excel in problem-solving and conflict resolution, equipped to handle guest issues with grace and efficiency. Your mastery of hospitality service standards and leadership skills will drive a positive work culture and high employee morale. This is a full-time position offering a comprehensive benefits package after an initial waiting period, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, disability income protection, life and AD&D insurance, paid time off, an employee assistance program, and a 401k retirement plan. Job Requirements

  • minimum of a 2-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant hotel management experience
  • valid driver’s license for the applicable state
  • strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • excellent guest service orientation
  • capability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • at least 6 years of progressive experience in hotel or related field
  • 4-year college degree with 4 to 5 years of related experience or 2-year college degree with 5 to 6 years of related experience
  • valid driver’s license
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • proven ability in budget management and sales strategies
