Job Description

Aimbridge Hospitality is a leading global third-party hotel management company committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences across a diverse portfolio of properties. With a presence in multiple locations, Aimbridge Hospitality continuously strives to provide unparalleled service, innovative solutions, and industry-leading standards. The company prides itself on fostering a culture that empowers its team members, supports professional growth, and emphasizes guest satisfaction at every interaction. Their properties range from upscale hotels to extended-stay residences, catering to a broad spectrum of travelers with distinctive needs and expectations.

One such property under Aimbridge's management is Extended Stay America - Dayton - North, a hotel that specializes in providing a residential-style lodging environment for guests requiring longer stays. Ideally positioned just off the I-75 highway, this hotel offers convenient access to important Dayton attractions such as the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, The Dayton Art Institute, Cox Arboretum MetroPark, and the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery. The property features spacious suites equipped with full kitchens, complimentary Wi-Fi, grab-and-go breakfast options, onsite laundry facilities, and a pet-friendly policy, all set within a welcoming and practical environment designed for consistent, home-like hospitality.

The General Manager role at Aimbridge Hospitality is more than a managerial position; it is a leadership opportunity to spearhead all operational aspects of the property. As General Manager, you will be the cornerstone of the hotel’s success, responsible for delivering outstanding guest experiences while consistently meeting financial and operational targets. Your role involves strategic sales planning, budget management, streamlining work processes through modern systems, and inspiring a cohesive and driven team.

Your responsibilities will include oversight of revenue management, expense control, and financial reporting aligned with company goals. You will create and implement effective sales strategies and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to achieve sustained growth in bookings and revenue. Additionally, you will utilize operational systems and reporting tools to optimize decisions and enhance productivity. A crucial part of your leadership will be to cultivate an environment where your team feels motivated, supported, and taught to deliver five-star guest services that turn every stay into a memorable experience.

You will also act as the hotel’s ambassador, establishing and nurturing ties with property owners and local community leaders to promote the hotel’s reputation and foster collaborative partnerships. This role demands a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills, financial acumen, and a passion for the hospitality industry. The position is full-time and offers a competitive benefits package after an initial waiting period, including daily pay options, medical, dental, and vision coverage, disability income plans, life and AD&D insurance, paid time off, employee assistance programs, and a 401k retirement plan.

If you possess extensive experience in hotel management or a related field, strong leadership qualities, and a commitment to operational excellence and guest satisfaction, this General Manager role presents an exciting career opportunity within a respected hospitality company dedicated to making every guest visit extraordinary.
