As a proud member of the Valencia Hotel Group, a collection of hotels created for today’s passionate traveler, Cavalry Court & The George stands as a pillar of the community, offering exceptional hospitality and service to visitors and locals alike. The Valencia Hotel Group is committed to delivering memorable experiences by embracing innovative design, superior service standards, and a guest-centric approach that resonates throughout their properties. Their hotels are celebrated for combining stylish aesthetics with functionality, making them appealing destinations for a varied clientele, from business travelers to leisure guests seeking comfort and sophistication. The group’s culture emphasizes teamwork, empowerment, and the pursuit of excellence, contributing to their award-winning status in the hospitality sector.
The Express Meeting Manager role at Cavalry Court & The George is a vital position focused on enhancing the guest experience through meticulous planning and coordination of meetings and meal functions for both corporate and social clients. This role is essential within the hotel’s sales and events team, tasked with managing group bookings primarily for room blocks of thirty or fewer, either with or without catering components. The Manager functions as a key liaison between the hotel and clients, ensuring that every aspect of an event—from room reservations to meal arrangements—is flawlessly coordinated. Responsibilities include direct selling to generate revenue, prospecting new business leads as assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing, and managing a diverse portfolio ranging from corporate groups to social, Association, SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, Fraternal), and educational bookings.
This position demands a high level of customer service excellence, effective communication skills, and an ability to manage complex event logistics. Candidates must be prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by group schedules. The role integrates revenue and yield management strategies, ensuring optimal use of the hotel’s meeting spaces and services to meet and exceed assigned sales goals. Moreover, the Express Meeting Manager is responsible for fostering strong relationships with both internal teams and clients, guaranteeing satisfaction and repeat business. This involves active engagement with event details, from negotiating contracts to confirming bookings, and coordinating with various hotel departments to deliver seamless service. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of food and beverage services are critical to success in this role.
By joining Cavalry Court & The George as an Express Meeting Manager, individuals will be part of a dynamic, award-winning team dedicated to hospitality excellence and community engagement. This position offers the opportunity to develop professional skills in sales, event management, and customer relations within a respected hotel group and vibrant city setting. The role is instrumental in achieving the hotel’s revenue targets while creating unforgettable experiences for guests and clients. Valencia Hotel Group values diversity and inclusion, providing equal employment opportunities and fostering a workplace culture where everyone can thrive and contribute to the company’s ongoing success.
