This paid position offers $11.00 to $14.00 per hour and provides an ideal setting to develop valuable hospitality skills within a fast-paced, friendly workplace. Working in person, you will coordinate table management using advanced POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and Toast POS. You will be the first point of contact for guests, expertly managing phone inquiries, reservations, and seating arrangements. Your ability to multitask under pressure while paying close attention to detail ensures that every guest feels welcomed and valued.

Food safety and quality are top priorities, and you will assist in delivering dishes promptly while adhering to health standards. Job Requirements

Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred
Restaurant reservation management experience is a plus
Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette
Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Basic math skills for handling guest checks, reservations, and order accuracy
Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices
Organizational skills to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow smoothly
Hospitality or hotel experience is beneficial but not required
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn

Job Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation bookings using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders to tables, acting as the primary point of contact between the kitchen and front-of-house staff
Assist with food running duties by delivering dishes efficiently while maintaining food safety standards
Manage guest relations by answering questions, providing menu recommendations, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction through excellent customer service
Support host/hostess responsibilities by managing waitlists, seating guests promptly, and maintaining organized reservation logs
Answer phone calls professionally, handle reservation inquiries, and communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times or special requests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, ensuring all tables are properly set and ready for new guests
