Employment for this role can be either full-time or part-time with an hourly wage under a non-exempt classification. The role reports directly to the Restaurant Manager on Duty and does not involve managing other employees. A high school diploma or equivalent is required alongside current certifications such as a Food Handler's Permit and Alcohol Certification. Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of one year of experience in a similar hospitality or food service role. The job demands physical stamina and mental resilience to handle stressful and fast-paced environments while maintaining calm and organization. This includes frequently lifting up to 50 pounds and performing various physical actions such as standing, walking, bending, and operating tools like computers and beer draught systems.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Ensure all brand standards regarding quality, food preparation, presentation, food safety and timeliness are upheld at all times
  • Liaise and support positive communication between kitchen and service staff during high-volume times
  • Prioritize and execute strong time management skills
  • Extend friendliness, warmth, and hospitality to guests and staff
  • Coordinate efforts of restaurant and kitchen personnel to exceed guest expectations
  • Ensure expeditor station is properly set up and stocked
  • Engage with guests to make them feel welcome and attended to
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and use salesmanship skills to answer questions and make recommendations
  • Observe diners to ensure satisfaction and communicate with service staff
  • Perform all assigned side work
  • Continually stock expeditor station throughout shifts
  • Demonstrate leadership and teamwork
  • Communicate clearly and supportively with team members
  • Maintain a safe and harassment-free workplace
  • Adhere to sanitary and safe food handling practices
