The Expo Food Runner role within The Brigantine Family of Restaurants is a critical position that supports the smooth and efficient operation of the dining service by delivering food orders quickly and accurately from the kitchen to the customers' tables. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both the front-of-house and back-of-house teams. The individual in this position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of the expo line, ensuring order tickets are managed properly, and assisting servers and bussers when needed to enhance overall guest satisfaction. This dynamic role also involves side responsibilities such as cleaning and stocking side stations, maintaining floors, furniture, and restrooms to ensure a safe and pleasant dining environment.

Job Duties
- Setting up the front line with the small wares, plate ware and equipment needed to effectively serve all food items
- Keeping the station restocked, cleaning small, large trays and tray stands, reading order tickets and placing them onto the ticket minder
- Cleaning and sweeping the dining areas of the restaurant, cleaning, sanitizing, and resetting each table for the next guest, taking out the garbage, stocking stations with necessary supplies, and cleaning the bathrooms
- Anticipate guests’ and coworkers’ needs and exceed guest service expectations
- Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies
- Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Respond urgently and appropriately to guests’ and coworkers’ needs
- Exhibit a professional appearance and mannerisms
- Ensure guests are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems
- Concludes the guest experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return
- Complete assigned sidework at the beginning, during, and at end of shift
