The role of Expo Team Member, short for expediter, is a pivotal position within Slim Chickens' restaurant operations.   • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be 18 years or older

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the menu
  • Read the KDS monitor and prepare orders as indicated
  • React to each item ordered with urgency

  • Communicate accurately to the cook how much food should be cooking at all times
  • Maintain proper appearance of every order
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Complete all assigned prep work
  • Make sure that the sandwich, salad, wrap station is properly stocked for each shift as well as the dipping sauce station
