In the Expo role, you will be integral to the overall guest experience by adding the final touches to delicious brunch items before they reach the customers. Managing the expo line, you ensure that food orders are prioritized correctly and flow efficiently between the kitchen and your fellow Squad members. The responsibilities of the Expo go beyond just food preparation. Job Duties

  • Assist in the final preparation of dishes before delivery by checking for accuracy, presentation and temperature
  • final preparation of plating and garnishing of dishes
  • assist fellow Squad members in quick delivery of prepared food
  • eliminate obstacles in service, food preparation lines, or dishwashing
  • inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning
  • transfer important information between the kitchen and the wait staff (e.g., when a customer has a particular request)
  • handle complaints from clients to preserve the restaurant's reputation
  • support other tasks as needed (e.g., telephone orders)
  • perform other duties as assigned by upper management
