Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least six months of experience in a restaurant or food service setting preferred
- food handler certification
- ability to carry heavy trays of food
- excellent verbal communication skills in English
- physical stamina to remain standing and active for extended periods
- punctuality and reliable attendance
- ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- positive team-oriented attitude
Job Qualifications
- Punctual and reliable attendance
- able to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
- must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members
- must be a team player
- able to carry a 40lbs tray of food along with a tray jack
- must be able to speak and read English, Spanish a plus
- excellent communication skills and positive attitude
- ability to remain on feet and constantly moving for a prolonged period of time
- well-groomed and professionally dressed
- food handler certified
Job Duties
- Maintain work area in a neat and organized manner
- understand and execute the proper sequence of service
- check to ensure the food is prepared within the proper amount of time
- ensure all plates are of the highest quality as well as being clean and attractive
- have a strong knowledge of the menu to anticipate the needs or requests of guests
- set up the expo line with all the proper garnishes and supplies required for a full day of business
- facilitate communication between front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
