The company prides itself on its unique flavors, innovative menu, and passionate team that delivers an exceptional dining experience to every guest. As a fast-growing and dynamic restaurant group, Torchy's offers a supportive work environment that values teamwork, respect, and dedication to quality food service.

The Food Expeditor position at Torchy's plays an essential role in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that every food order leaving the kitchen is accurate, timely, and meets the company's high standards. This role acts as the critical link between the kitchen team and servers, orchestrating the flow of food orders to guarantee a smooth and efficient service experience. The Food Expeditor is responsible for verifying order accuracy, managing ticket times, portioning and prepping food items accurately, and maintaining cleanliness and organization at the station. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are paramount, as this position directly impacts customer satisfaction by delivering perfectly prepared dishes to guests.

This position requires excellent communication skills, an ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a strong sense of urgency to meet the demands of peak service times. The Food Expeditor must also be proactive in handling special dietary requests, allergies, and complicated orders to ensure guest safety and satisfaction. Physical stamina is necessary, as the job involves standing for extended periods, bending, stretching, and lifting heavy objects up to 40 pounds. Flexibility in work schedules is also expected to meet the varying needs of the restaurant.

Torchy's offers competitive pay ranging from $12 to $13 per hour based on experience, with tip share included on top of the hourly wage. Additional benefits include flexible schedules, a generous food discount for employees and their spouses, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time team members after one year of employment. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as participation in the company’s 401(k) plan after six months, paid time off after one year, and support through the Torchy's Family Foundation.
