We are looking for an Expert Cake Baker to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in producing high-quality cakes by following proprietary recipes meticulously and executing baking processes with precision. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting production demands efficiently while adhering to strict food safety and quality standards. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • No formal education required
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to follow proprietary recipes and health and safety guidelines
  • Willingness to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No formal education or experience is required, although previous baking or foodservice experience is advantageous
  • Understand and apply written and oral directions, including recipes and health and safety guidelines
  • Familiarity with basic U. S. measurement units
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods
  • Ability to operate commercial ovens and bakery equipment safely and effectively
  • Meticulously follow exact measurements and timing while managing a fast-paced production schedule
  • Exhibit discipline and attention to detail in adhering to health and safety practices
  • Be organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Follow NbC proprietary recipes and cake production methods precisely to meet productivity goals
  • Utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers and ovens, and other baking tools effectively
  • Prepare raw ingredients and equipment accurately, monitor the baking process, and ensure consistent quality
  • Adhere to packaging, labeling, storage, and product rotation standards while maintaining baking and refrigeration logs
  • Assist the Bakery Manager in developing a comprehensive cake production plan, monitor baking supply inventory, and alert management when supplies need replenishment
  • Evaluate raw ingredients and baked cakes to ensure they meet NbC standards and communicate any quality control concerns
  • Keep the workstation clean, sanitized, and restocked for the next shift while ensuring all baking supplies are prepared
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines as well as NbC policies, maintaining a professional appearance and personal hygiene
  • Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
