The role of Experienced Sushi Chef at Out to Lunch Restaurant Group offers a unique opportunity for a culinary professional passionate about sushi and Japanese cuisine to join their heart-of-house team in a scratch kitchen environment. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for crafting exquisite sushi dishes with precision and creativity, showcasing your expertise in sushi preparation techniques such as rice cooking, rolling, and cutting. Job Requirements

  • Be 18 years of age
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience including sushi chef duties
  • Culinary degree or certification preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • Experience in high-volume restaurant or sushi bar
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Leadership ability
  • Adaptability to menu and schedule changes
  • Time management skills
  • Attention to detail in presentation and quality

  • Willingness to train junior staff

  • Must be ServSafe or Food Handler certified
