This opportunity is for an experienced Corporate Receptionist to join IST Management's team in New York City. Candidates should have at least one year of corporate reception experience to be considered. The role focuses on creating a warm, professional, and inviting atmosphere for both clients and guests by delivering exemplary customer service. Working hours are from 8am to 5pm, with flexibility required to accommodate overtime when needed. Compensation ranges between $25.00 and $27.00 per hour. The Corporate Receptionist plays a key role in office services and facilities coordination, ensuring a seamless and efficient operation within the corporate environment.

Key responsibilities include managing incoming calls and visitor interactions with a highly professional demeanor, maintaining the reception area’s appearance and confidentiality standards, booking conference rooms while coordinating meeting logistics including audio-visual and catering requirements, and assisting clients and visitors with various needs such as transportation, hospitality, and event-related support services. The receptionist is also entrusted with problem-solving and adapting to changing circumstances smoothly, always prioritizing the comfort and satisfaction of visitors and company clients.

This role demands excellent communication skills, poise, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume office setting. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and strong typing skills are essential, as is a professional appearance and friendly, positive attitude. Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Serve as the voice and face of the firm
  • Answer and screen all incoming external and internal telephone calls
  • Inform Conference and Events Coordinator and Facilities Manager of any facilities issues
  • Ensure client reception area is clean and professional, maintaining confidentiality
  • Book conference rooms and coordinate meeting requirements such as A/V and catering
  • Assist clients and visitors with arrivals, departures, and administrative support
  • Identify and resolve problems promptly with poise
  • Anticipate client needs and provide exceptional hospitality services
  • Provide information and technical assistance related to conference calls
  • Assist with event preparation including envelope stuffing, name tags, and light administrative tasks
