Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food preparation role
  • understanding of food safety regulations
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • strong work ethic and reliability
  • ability to follow directions accurately

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a prep cook or in a back-of-house kitchen role
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to work efficiently in a high-volume restaurant environment
  • strong attention to detail
  • willingness to learn and follow restaurant culinary standards
  • good teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to handle kitchen equipment safely

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and mise en place for daily menu items
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen prep areas
  • assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks
  • adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • manage inventory of prep supplies and communicate needs to kitchen management
  • support the kitchen team in maintaining a fast-paced and efficient workflow
  • ensure all prep work meets quality and presentation standards
