Job Requirements

current San Diego County food handlers card
prior experience working as a line cook or prep cook
ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting reaching and holding objects
ability to follow written and oral instructions
willingness to work various shifts including mornings afternoons evenings weekends and holidays
good manual dexterity and sensory skills
punctuality and reliability

Job Duties

work closely and professionally with other cooks bartenders barbacks cashiers and runners
prep and cook regular and special menu items using various methods such as grill fry deep-fry saute toast or bake
change out fryer grease
prep adequate quantities of ingredients for upcoming shifts
maintain clean and sanitary kitchen work areas
deep clean the kitchen and kitchen equipment as directed
receive deliveries and stock food and non-food supplies
wash dishes pots pans and utensils
open or close the kitchen
