We are currently seeking a talented, creative, and experienced kitchen steward and prep cook to join our small but passionate kitchen crew. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and pays close attention to detail to ensure the smooth production of visually appealing and delicious food. Candidates will work alongside a tight-knit team in a fine-dining kitchen setting where precision, speed, and organization are paramount.
This position offers competitive hourly pay starting at $16 during training and $17 upon starting, with the opportunity to earn an additional $15 to $30 in tip outs per shift. There is also potential for advancement for the right individual who demonstrates commitment and skill. Our kitchen operates primarily during the daytime with some weekend and Sunday night shifts, so candidates must have availability during these times, especially on Sunday nights. This role requires a calm demeanor in high-volume situations and the ability to work efficiently while moving between different kitchen stations including cold line, hot line, desserts, and dish area.

Job Duties
- Help with cleanliness and organization of walk-in and reach-in coolers, dish area, and dry storage
- Loading and unloading produce and protein orders
- Ensuring dish area is running smoothly and all kitchen tools are properly organized and put away
- Ability to move quickly and efficiently between cold line, hot line, desserts, and dish area
- Ability to execute instructions efficiently and accurately
- Understanding of various cooking ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Follow all standard kitchen SOP's
