The role of Experienced Host/Hostess at Ondus is an essential part of our front-of-house team. This position involves being the first point of contact for arriving guests, ensuring they are greeted warmly and seated promptly. The Host/Hostess manages the flow of guests to maximize seating efficiency while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor. Responsibilities include processing cashier transactions accurately and efficiently, contributing to the smooth operation of the restaurant. Our Experienced Host/Hostess embodies a friendly and personable style, anticipating the needs of guests before they ask and ensuring every customer feels welcomed and valued.

In this role, the host/hostess must comply with established standards for greeting and seating guests, such as walking within two feet of guests while escorting them to their table, pulling out chairs, handing an open menu, and introducing the server. Additionally, they promote the menu, facilities, services, hours of operation, and any current promotional programs.
