Job Requirements
- Fine dining experience, providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of all food and bar menus
- Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
- Ability to stand for 5+ hours and carry heavy trays of food
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of fine dining service
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and all staff
- Previous food service work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience in handling payment transactions and POS systems
Job Duties
- Complete knowledge of our food and bar menus with the expertise to make suggestions
- Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive and friendly demeanor
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Enter orders accurately into POS terminals for transmittal to kitchen staff
- Ensure tables are enjoying their visit and troubleshoot as needed
- Collect payments from tables
- Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes
- Help food preparation staff when necessary
