Job Description

Cypress Cove is a distinguished Life Plan Community, commonly known as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), situated on a picturesque 60-acre campus. This community is designed to provide senior living at the highest level of independence, enriched by unmatched amenities, fine dining experiences, and elegant decor. Cypress Cove offers a comprehensive continuum of care that caters to the diverse needs of its residents, including Independent and Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, and Rehabilitation services. This holistic approach ensures residents receive personalized care and support as their needs evolve. The community fosters a warm and engaging rapport between residents and staff, creating an environment that is both welcoming and friendly. Residents love the lifestyle, comfort, and services that Cypress Cove provides, and employees find it a rewarding and enjoyable place to work. This balance creates a unique workplace culture centered on respect, compassion, and dedication to enhancing the quality of life for seniors.

The role available at Cypress Cove is focused on preparing and serving quality meals within this vibrant senior living community. Employees in this position will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the daily dining experiences of residents by preparing made-from-scratch meals in alignment with the menu cycle, ensuring each dish is plated beautifully under the chef's guidance. This position is crucial in maintaining the high standards of food quality and presentation that Cypress Cove is known for. In addition to cooking, staff members assist with restocking kitchen supplies in preparation for upcoming shifts, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This includes the setup, operation, breakdown, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment to uphold the sanitation and safety standards necessary in a healthcare and senior living environment.

This role requires a dedication to safety and quality in food handling, as well as strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to work efficiently alongside kitchen colleagues and other staff members. Physical capability is essential in this position, as it demands standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds, with repetitive motions such as bending, reaching, and twisting. Cypress Cove values employees who demonstrate responsibility, a positive work ethic, and a willingness to contribute to a team dedicated to enhancing the lives of its senior residents.

Employment with Cypress Cove comes with attractive compensation, including competitive health benefits and paid vacation for full-time employees, a retirement plan featuring a 6 percent company match, and unique perks such as free employee clinic sick visits and free telemedicine services for family members. Referral bonuses are also available, making this a highly appealing opportunity for individuals looking for stable employment in a rewarding and supportive environment. Cypress Cove is an equal opportunity employer and maintains a drug-free and tobacco-free workplace, emphasizing a community of health and well-being for all its employees and residents.
