Job Description

Join the Grand Teton Lodge Company and create your experience of a lifetime while working and playing in the breathtaking mountains. Whether it's your first time seeing the mountains or you already call them home, becoming part of our team means discovering or re-discovering a passion for the outdoors while building lifelong connections with teammates and guests from around the world. The Grand Teton Lodge Company operates over 40 resorts, offering a unique blend of mountain hospitality and outdoor adventure that makes it an exceptional place for both seasonal employment and career opportunities.

As a kitchen team member, you will be responsible for executing a high-quality locally driven menu, learning and working across any station required, and performing all duties as directed by the Chef and Sous Chef. You will be expected to maintain a neat and clean work area in accordance with federal health policies and standards. This role offers an hourly wage of $25.88, with summer seasonal employment for 2026 and part-time hours available. Although housing is not provided, the company offers a range of attractive benefits including paid sick time, paid PTO after 500 hours, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee assistance programs, excellent training and professional development, and a referral program.

This position demands dedication to the company’s mission, vision, and values, as well as an understanding of management systems, policies, and initiatives concerning hospitality, environmental stewardship, and health and safety. The role involves treating coworkers, kitchen equipment, and food with respect, maintaining an open mind to learning new culinary techniques and products, preparing for future shifts, and adhering to leadership direction. You will be responsible for keeping your station and tools clean and organized, adapting to scheduling and duty changes, working efficiently from start to finish, taking ownership of your station, and contributing to the team beyond basic responsibilities. Checking out with your manager before ending each shift is also required.

Working at the Grand Teton Lodge Company comes with exciting perks such as affordable housing and RV sites available for limited full-time roles, complimentary and discounted golf rounds, 50 percent off shift meals, 40 percent retail discounts plus online ProDeals, and free participation in Grand Teton National Park guest activities including horseback rides, kayak and boat rentals, lake cruises, scenic raft tours, and access to 200 miles of hiking trails. Living by one of the most picturesque national parks in the world is perhaps the greatest benefit of all. The company fosters an inclusive work environment and is an equal opportunity employer, providing consideration to all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status under law.
