As AIMRIGHT Testing & Engineering continues to expand, it is seeking Experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technicians who are ready to relocate to Tulsa, OK. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $22.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience, supplemented by overtime and performance bonuses. The role requires technicians to perform field testing and inspections of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, mortar, asphalt, and reinforcing steel, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. This position requires daily travel to job sites, supported by a company-provided truck, and involves interpreting construction drawings, documenting accurate test results, and collaborating closely with project managers, contractors, and clients.
Technicians at AIMRIGHT are expected to work safely in varying weather conditions while performing physically demanding tasks such as standing, squatting, bending, kneeling, and lifting weights ranging from 25 to 100 pounds. The schedule typically requires 40 to 60 hours per week, with some flexibility for early mornings, occasional nights, and weekend shifts based on project needs. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year experience in construction materials testing CMT
- Certification in portable nuclear gauge safety training
- Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Physically able to lift 25-100 lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Willing to obtain additional industry certifications ACI DOT NICET PTI with company-funded training and exams
Job Qualifications
- 1+ year experience in construction materials testing CMT
- Certification in portable nuclear gauge safety training required
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Willingness to obtain additional industry certifications ACI DOT NICET PTI with company support
- Valid driver’s license with clean MVR
Job Duties
- Perform field testing inspections and observations on soils aggregates concrete grout mortar asphalt and reinforcing steel across residential retail commercial industrial and municipal projects
- Drive to job sites daily in a company-provided truck ensure compliance with project specs and standards
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Accurately document test results and communicate findings with project managers contractors and clients
- Work safely in all weather stand squat bend kneel and lift 25-100 lbs throughout the day
- Flex to project needs early mornings occasional nights weekends
- Maintain strong safety practices and adhere to company policies
