Preferred qualifications include at least one year of experience in a similar laboratory or materials testing environment, certifications from the American Concrete Institute (ACI) or Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), and coursework or degrees in civil engineering, construction management, or geology. Certifications such as ACI Soils, Concrete, and Asphalt are highly desirable.
