The CV Invasive Specialist II (CVIS II) at Intermountain Health plays an essential role within the interventional services team, supporting complex catheterization procedures with both technical skill and professional acumen. This full-time role is based at Good Samaritan Hospital’s Cath Lab, which integrates multiple specialized modalities including Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology. The laboratory boasts four state-of-the-art procedure suites equipped with Philips imaging systems, GE Mac-Lab hemodynamic monitoring, and Epic Cupid structured electronic reporting systems designed to enhance precision and improve patient outcomes.

In this position, the CVIS II is expected to perform independently with minimal supervision when conducting a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures. The specialist applies specialized knowledge related to invasive procedural supplies, pharmacology, cardiopulmonary physiology, and imaging equipment operation, ensuring all interventions adhere to the highest safety and quality standards. The role demands a comprehensive understanding of the Alliance of Cardiovascular Professionals (ACVP) scope of practice or, specifically for Electrophysiology, the NASPE Standards of Professional Practice. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certifications are required for medication administration.

This role offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus where applicable to support new team members transitioning into the organization.
