The role of a Caregiver at TheKey is designed for compassionate individuals eager to make an impact in the lives of seniors. These caregivers work directly in clients’ homes, assisting them with daily living activities in a respectful and supportive manner. Schedules are flexible, covering multiple shifts including weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., longer shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and overnight shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Wednesday. Pay rates are highly competitive, ranging from $17.50 to $19.50 per hour, with opportunities available for full-time and part-time employment. TheKey supports its caregivers with paid training—including virtual, online, and hands-on classes—ensuring they are well-prepared to provide top-tier care. Additionally, caregivers have access to mileage reimbursement, weekly pay with optional daily pay via PayActiv, and ongoing career development opportunities. Job Qualifications
- at least 6 months to 1 year of professional caregiving experience
- at least 18 years of age
- valid driver's license
- access to a fully insured personal vehicle
Job Duties
- assist clients with personal care including dressing, grooming, and assisting with meals
- perform light housekeeping such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing
- provide transportation to appointments, errands, and grocery shopping
- offer companionship through games, puzzles, and social activities
