Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license with access to a fully insured personal vehicle
- TB clearance or chest X-ray
- Must comply with state background screening requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of professional caregiving experience
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification
- Proven ability to provide compassionate care to seniors with cognitive impairments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including various shifts
Job Duties
- Providing cognitive and behavioral support including gentle reminders and redirection to reduce confusion and anxiety
- Assisting with personal care tasks such as dressing, grooming, hygiene, and meals with respect and patience
- Maintaining home safety and performing housekeeping duties including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
- Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping
- Offering companionship through conversation, music, memory games, or sensory activities tailored to cognitive needs
