With over 50 locations in Canada and the United States, JOEY Restaurants combines locally and globally inspired handcrafted menus created by award-winning chefs with the hospitality of world-class service leaders, all within a warm, modern, and lively environment. The group prides itself on a culture of people development and invests heavily in the training, education, and empowerment of its team members. This commitment to exceptional performance and team-oriented success has made JOEY a leader in the restaurant industry, with continued growth and expansion planned through 2030.

As a Bartender at JOEY Restaurants, you assume a pivotal role in crafting memorable guest experiences through your expertise and genuine warmth. This position, offering $17.87 per hour plus tips, is designed for those passionate about hospitality and who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced settings. Your role is essential in creating the lively and entertaining atmosphere that JOEY is known for, all while adhering to high standards of safety and responsible service.

In this role, your responsibilities span from engaging with guests with friendliness and attentiveness, assisting with menu navigation to expertly preparing and serving cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and nonalcoholic beverages according to JOEY’s recipes and quality standards. Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and a focus on timely order management ensure smooth service delivery. You also take ownership of resolving guest issues with poise and good judgment, emphasizing your commitment to the guest experience. An important part of your duties includes verifying guest identification for alcohol service, upholding legal compliance, and following food and beverage safety protocols.

Success in this role requires more than technical skill; it demands a genuine, warm, and caring personality aligned with JOEY’s values of honesty, integrity, and professionalism. You will thrive if you embrace feedback, problem-solving, and teamwork while maintaining a polished appearance and demeanor. Physical stamina is also necessary as the role involves standing and walking for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting duties.

By joining JOEY, you become part of a culture that celebrates personal and professional growth, offers competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid sick leave, shift meal discounts, and various incentives such as referral bonuses and sales competitions. If you are looking for an opportunity to meet your potential and develop your career within a supportive and company that values your contribution, the Bartender position at JOEY Restaurants represents an excellent fit.
