Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a baker
- Knowledge of quick breads, starters, laminated doughs, enriched doughs, and various bread types
- Proven experience in mixing dough, scaling products, lamination, shaping, proofing, and baking
- Experience in a high-volume bakery preferred, particularly in hotel settings
- Familiarity with baking equipment including large-scale mixers, proofers, scales, and sheeters
- Ability to read and follow written recipes accurately
- Open availability with the ability to work overnight shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Preparing and baking breakfast pastries, breads, rolls, and select desserts for restaurants and banquets
- Maintaining adequate stock and ensuring proper storage and refrigeration
- Minimizing spoilage and waste by using proper quantities and rotating products effectively
- Preparing food items according to recipes to ensure consistent quality
- Performing all necessary prep work for cakes, pies, mousses, and plated desserts
- Keeping coolers and freezers organized and clean
- Storing all food products properly including covering, labeling, dating, and managing expiration dates of perishable items
- Conducting routine cleaning tasks following food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitoring HACCP temperatures and maintaining good food safety and sanitation practices
