The Maintenance Tech Lead role with InterSolutions serves as a key leadership position within top apartment communities, responsible for supervising maintenance teams and overseeing daily operational tasks to maintain high living standards for residents. The maintenance lead acts as a liaison between the property manager and the maintenance staff, ensuring work orders are managed efficiently and service requests are completed promptly. Candidates for this role should have extensive experience in apartment or residential maintenance and be adept at guiding teams toward effective completion of maintenance operations. Primary duties include managing vacant apartment preparation, upkeeping grounds, and addressing repairs involving electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership qualities and organizational skills to maintain a seamless workflow and ensure customer satisfaction. Job Duties
- Assign and assist with apartment service requests ensuring all work orders are logged accurately and completed promptly
- manage vacant apartments ensuring timely preparation for new leases
- maintain the grounds by keeping them free of debris and trash
- provide excellent customer service to residents
- handle electrical plumbing appliance repairs installations and replacements professionally meeting industry standards including electrical circuits switches receptacles breakers and light fixtures appliance repairs and installations stoves refrigerators washers dryers plumbing repairs toilets sinks vanities disposals caulking minor carpentry window screens and blinds interior and exterior doors minor painting drywall repair bulk trash removal including appliances clearing drains and sewer lines up to 4 feet
