Caruso is currently offering an exciting opportunity for experienced Box Truck Drivers to join their local routes team. This role is critical as it directly impacts the company's service quality and reputation. The Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring timely deliveries to local customers, with shifts typically starting between 4 pm and 6 pm. The position demands a high level of professionalism and the ability to uphold the company's image by providing exceptional service and maintaining positive interactions with customers.

As a Route Driver, you become the face of Caruso, embodying the company’s values and commitment to excellence. This role requires safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle (CMV), handling pickups and deliveries with care to guarantee an outstanding customer service experience. Compliance with all company policies, procedures, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations is mandatory, ensuring both safety and legal standards are upheld throughout the delivery process. The role is hands-on and dynamic, involving tasks such as loading and unloading products as per customer specifications, obtaining necessary customer signatures, reviewing and verifying invoices, keeping delivery logs, and conducting vehicle inspections via Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs). The successful candidate must embrace safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and adherence to driving regulations.
