Job Description
CBRE is a global leader in commercial real estate services and investment that helps businesses and people thrive. With a dynamic team of problem solvers and forward-thinking professionals, CBRE creates significant impact through innovative solutions and exceptional customer service. The company is committed to building a collaborative culture rooted in shared values such as respect, integrity, service, and excellence. CBRE values diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and skillsets, offering employees the opportunity to chart their own course and realize their potential within a supportive environment. The organization maintains a strong commitment to equal employment opportunity and reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities, ensuring an inclusive and accessible workplace for all.
The role of a Workplace Experience Coordinator at CBRE is pivotal to delivering a world-class customer service experience to employees and guests within a designated building. This position is part of the Workplace Experience function, which focuses on enhancing the daily experience of individuals by managing interactions in the facility efficiently and professionally. As the first point of contact for all visitors and employees entering the building, the Workplace Experience Coordinator creates a welcoming environment while following established security protocols such as issuing visitor and parking passes. The role requires a professional demeanor in answering telephone calls, handling inquiries, and managing communications within the team.
Responsibilities include arranging and confirming a variety of activities such as recreational events, dining options, and business-related functions on behalf of requestors while managing janitorial and maintenance work orders. The coordinator also oversees mail and office supply services and assists with onboarding processes to ensure a smooth workplace experience. Critical to the role is organizing and managing on-site events, including reserving spaces, managing setup and teardown procedures, and coordinating supplies. The position demands adherence to property-specific security and emergency procedures, ensuring the safety of all building occupants and effective communication with relevant parties.
Collaboration with external vendors who supply goods and services to the workplace is essential, and clear explanation of complex information to team members is required. The coordinator follows detailed procedures and exercises limited discretion in problem-solving, using existing methods to address routine situations. This role offers a highly organized individual the opportunity to contribute significantly to the positive atmosphere and operational effectiveness of the workplace.
CBRE offers a competitive salary range for this position from $60,000 to $62,500 annually, or $28.85 to $30.05 per hour, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience. The company also promotes ethical hiring practices, refraining from using artificial intelligence in hiring decisions and encouraging candidates to disclose any AI assistance used during their application. By joining CBRE as a Workplace Experience Coordinator, candidates can expect to work in a respected global company that values diversity, professional growth, and exceptional service in the commercial real estate sector.
