As an Experience Manager, you will lead through Ulta Beauty’s mission and values by fostering a high-performing team culture that drives accountability and motivates associates to exceed goals in services, boutiques, retail sales, guest loyalty, and operational standards. This role requires a strategic mindset with operational expertise to manage payroll budgets, scheduling, product knowledge, and compliance with company policies. You will spearhead initiatives that enhance business performance by leveraging company programs and industry trends, while continuously supporting the professional development, engagement, and success of your team.
Ulta Beauty is committed to an inclusive and supportive leadership philosophy. The EM role provides an enriching environment to influence, inspire, and cultivate talent through meticulous coaching, training, and performance management. Understanding and applying cosmetology regulations, while demonstrating advanced knowledge of industry products and guest services, is vital to this position.
In addition to operational leadership, the Experience Manager champions a culture of accountability and teamwork, working closely alongside other store leadership to align priorities and share best practices. They serve as a business owner responsible for protecting company assets, minimizing shrink loss, and ensuring compliance with safety, inventory control, and cash management standards. Continuous learning is encouraged, with ongoing training on brand and category knowledge regularly undertaken by the EM and their teams to maintain professional excellence.
Working conditions for this role require physical mobility including standing, bending, lifting, and continuous use of technology and office supplies throughout shifts, with the flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ulta Beauty also embraces diversity by offering fair chance employment policies consistent with applicable local laws.
Overall, joining Ulta Beauty as an Experience Manager offers a unique opportunity to lead within a vibrant, growth-oriented company that values innovation, inclusivity, and the power of beauty to transform lives.
