The role offered is for a part-time Expeditor position at Lyric at RidgeGate, specifically within the Food and Beverage department. This job is crucial in ensuring a smooth connection between the culinary team and guests by overseeing that food quality, portion sizes, presentation, and timely delivery meet the high standards expected at this community's signature restaurant. Reporting directly to the Food and Beverage Manager, the Expeditor serves as the key communicator facilitating coordinated efforts between kitchen staff and servers. As an Expeditor, you will play a central role in maintaining the highest standards of service by ensuring that every dish leaving the kitchen meets consistent quality and presentation criteria aligned with company standards. Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year high-volume restaurant experience preferred
- Current Food Handlers Card
- Ability to learn and perform essential job functions with minimal supervision within two weeks

- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos

Job Duties

- Understand menu items, ingredients, and allergen information
- Monitor guest plates for quality, portion, and presentation standards
- Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of food
- Keep the food line and surrounding areas clean and organized
- Complete all server assistant side work at shift start and end
- Address safety issues or guest concerns diplomatically
- Ensure servers understand table settings, service ware, table and position numbers
- Monitor the IBS system for accurate daily entries
