The role within Legends Global focuses on the critical connection between the front of house and back of house operations, ensuring the seamless and efficient delivery of food service in high-end club or restaurant environments. The primary responsibility is to communicate orders and information accurately while maintaining the quality and timeliness of food preparation. This role demands a high level of organizational skill, leadership, and attention to detail to ensure that food is prepared in the correct order, cooked efficiently, and presented impeccably to guests. The successful candidate will lead food runners and coordinate order deliveries, overseeing that safety standards, sanitation, and company guidelines for appearance are consistently met. This position is well-suited for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrates the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

The job requires the incumbent to be a proactive team player, contributing to the preparation and service of food while ensuring the cleanliness and safety of kitchen areas. The role includes responsibilities such as following opening and closing procedures, maintaining proper food temperatures, handling kitchen equipment safely, and adhering to sanitation standards. Additionally, this position involves extended work hours covering late nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with culinary training preferred. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in fast-paced, upscale food service settings and demonstrate outstanding multi-tasking and time management abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective coordination between teams and enhancing guest experience.

Job Duties

  • Communicate orders and information between the front of house and back of house while making sure that food is cooked in correct order, efficiently and presented correctly to guest
  • follows assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation
  • ensures that proper food temperatures are maintained, and items are accurately delivered
  • responsible for safety standards, neatness and sanitation of work areas
  • maintain cleanliness of kitchen including shelves, walls, floors and drains
  • participates as a team player with specific responsibilities as related to preparation, excellent service and delivery of product
  • handles and cleans kitchen equipment carefully and safely to prevent damage or injury
  • adhere to company guidelines for appearance and uniform standards
  • other duties as assigned
  • leads the food runners and coordinates accurate delivery of orders
