Job Requirements
- Minimum one year food and beverage service or equivalent
- Knowledge of menu items and allergies
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
- Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
- Previous experience in a luxury environment preferred
- High school education or culinary education preferred
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year food and beverage service or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of menu items and possible allergies
- Ability to communicate professionally and accurately
- Previous experience in a luxury environment highly desirable
- High school education, cooking school or culinary institute education preferred
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume and demanding environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations and guests
Job Duties
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with front of house, back of house, and guests
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently to guest concerns and requests
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen pass
- Assist with restaurant setup for service
- Polish and stock silverware, glassware, and linen before and after service
- Prepare garnishes for service
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the restaurant during shift
- Assist with guest service including retrieving and delivering food, and clearing tables
- Work harmoniously and professionally with coworkers and supervisors
- Coordinate back of house and servers to maintain efficient service
- Check dishes for accuracy, presentation, and consistency
- Inform culinary team of pace and flow of service and dictate flow if necessary
