Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent
- 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience
- At least 5 years' project expediting experience
- Proficient in interpreting schedules to ensure realistic milestones
- Knowledge of general business practices and administrative procedures
- Knowledge of equipment and material fabrication sequencing
- Experience in expediting techniques of materials and equipment
- Familiarity with engineering, planning, construction, and procurement processes
- Experienced in supplier warning and advisory process
- Preferred experience with Aconex and ETA
- Preferred familiarity with LNG plant equipment and processes
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent

- Proficient in interpreting schedules to ensure that realistic milestones are established, required activities occur on time, and that interface between activities is maintained
- Knowledge of general business practices and administrative procedures and oral communication regarding technical and production matters with both project and supplier personnel
- Knowledge of equipment and material fabrication sequencing and plant construction sequencing
- Experience in techniques of expediting of materials and equipment
- Working and process familiarity with Engineering, Planning and Scheduling, Construction, and Procurement practices and an understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures
- Experienced in the supplier warning and advisory process
- Preferred - experience with Aconex and ETA
- Preferred - familiarity with equipment and processes associated to LNG plants
Job Duties
- Performs more complex expediting activities on a project, in a support office, or at a jobsite to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project needs
- Contacts suppliers to obtain timely submission of engineering data and to follow-up on material acquisition, production progress and shipment
- Interprets production schedules and progress reports to ensure they are realistic, that required activities occur on time, and that interface between activities is maintained
- Coordinates with planning and scheduling, field material coordinators or jobsite project expeditors and construction to establish priorities, sequences and required delivery dates and instructs suppliers accordingly
- Expedites Bechtel engineering for the timely review, approval and return of engineering data submitted by suppliers
- Participates in pre- and post-award meetings to review and discuss schedules and potential problem areas that may impact required shipment dates
- Coordinates shipping arrangements or tracking requests with the project Logistics representative
