Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking or serving experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret recipes and guidelines
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle kitchen equipment safely
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking or serving experience preferred
- Ability to accurately read, interpret and prepare all West Texas Chop House guidelines
- Ability to prepare and present menu items per recipes
- Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required
- Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment
- Ability to read food order slips or receive verbal instructions and prepare food accordingly
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to team members, front of house staff, and guests
Job Duties
- Complete all assigned prep work and set up Expo station
- Monitor ticket times to ensure timely food delivery
- Maintain product presentations, product quality, and cook time standards
- Prepare all menu items according to West Texas Chop House recipes, plate presentations and specifications
- Complete side duties including stocking, bussing tables, cleaning back of the house areas, washing dishes and other cleaning tasks
- Follow Expo absolutes and operational procedures
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
