As a food expediter, the candidate will conscientiously monitor incoming orders and the volume of the restaurant to prioritize and manage kitchen output efficiently. They must assure ticket cook times meet or exceed company standards while completing all plate presentations per recipe and plating specifications, paying close attention to a final quality check on the food for presentation, temperature, garnish, and timeliness. The position also requires close coordination with food runners to ensure timely and accurate food delivery. Maintaining the expediter station’s cleanliness, organization, and stock levels throughout the shift is another essential responsibility.

The job demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand and move quickly for up to four hours at a time, good balance, and the capability to lift items weighing up to twenty pounds. Job Requirements

  • Mobility required during entire shift
  • Ability to wipe down shelves, pick debris off the floor and wipe down counters
  • Able to respond in situations to avoid imminent danger to self and others
  • Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for up to four hours
  • Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively
  • Good balance and ability to bend, kneel and reach
  • Ability to lift bus pans and trays frequently up to 20 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Reading, writing, basic math, and strong verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure and as a team member
  • Knowledge of Buffalo Wild Wings menu items including specials and wing counts
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a food service or kitchen expediting role preferred

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and consolidate all outgoing food items assuring high standards of plate presentation and food quality
