The role of Expediter at Jeff Ruby's is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication and efficiency between the kitchen staff and the service team. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, the Expediter acts as the vital link that coordinates the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring each dish reaches the correct table accurately and promptly. This position demands strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to maintain composure during busy service hours. Physically, the job requires stamina to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hour shifts, the ability to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe surfaces, as well as the capacity to carry large trays weighing up to 30 pounds through crowded areas. The role also requires working effectively under pressure and maintaining a positive, professional attitude when interacting with guests, co-workers, and management. Job Duties

  • uphold restaurant policies regarding hygiene and grooming
