Job Requirements

  • Properly sanitize and set up station according to restaurant’s guidelines
  • Constantly check food quality ensuring all products meet Sea Island standards
  • Execute food production and plating as per specifications and timing
  • Stock and restock station pre-food items as needed
  • Maintain clean, clutter-free, and organized station at all times
  • Maintain clean and organized kitchen storage areas
  • Embrace teamwork within the company, creating a positive work environment
  • Break down and clean station at the end of the shift following daily cleaning list
  • Complete positional training programs with validation measures
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by manager

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Reading skills
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout entire shift
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Team player mentality

Job Duties

  • Receive cooked food items and assemble according to specification
  • Coordinate orders from pantry, broiler/grill, and fryer with ticket numbers
  • Ensure quality and proper plate presentation of all outgoing dishes
  • Communicate with kitchen staff to maintain food prep par levels
  • Maintain a clean and organized station and storage areas
  • Sanitize and set up station per guidelines
  • Break down and clean station at shift end
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Participate in training programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
