The hotel is known for its stunning views of the Mississippi River, spacious meeting facilities, and a rich cultural ambiance that reflects the unique character of New Orleans. Hyatt is recognized not only for its guest-centric philosophy but also for fostering an inclusive, supportive work environment where employees can thrive and grow professionally.
At Hyatt Regency New Orleans, the commitment to caring for people so they can be their best is deeply embedded in the company culture. The hotel offers a variety of career growth opportunities through training programs, skills development, and internal promotions. Employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package designed to promote well-being and provide financial security. This includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, paid time off, referral bonuses, and access to discounted room nights globally. Hyatt also places strong emphasis on work-life balance and emotional support with programs such as the Employee Assistance Program available 24/7.
The Exhibitor & Vendor Logistics Coordinator role at Hyatt Regency New Orleans plays a vital part in the successful execution of conventions and large-scale events that the hotel hosts regularly. This full-time position requires a highly organized, proactive individual who acts as the on-site leader for all vendor logistics. The coordinator oversees load-in and load-out activities, orchestrates vendor arrivals, controls dock operations, and manages freight movement. This role is crucial in maintaining smooth and efficient operation flow while ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and hotel guidelines.
In this role, the coordinator works hand-in-hand with several internal departments including Event Services, Engineering, and Security teams to guarantee a seamless event experience from start to finish. The coordinator also conducts walkthroughs during events to protect hotel property and ensure accountability among all parties involved.
If you are enthusiastic about logistics and event management, thrive on planning and executing complex operations, and desire to be in a dynamic hospitality setting, this is a remarkable opportunity to join Hyatt Regency New Orleans.
