Reporting to the Executive Chef, this pivotal role focuses on planning, organizing, directing and controlling the stewarding operations. The Executive Steward will collaborate closely with culinary leaders and food and beverage managers to ensure an adequate supply and proper storage of china, silverware, glassware and other service equipment. This leadership position demands a sharp eye for quality, efficient handling of large volumes, and maintaining impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards. The Executive Steward will have a hands-on approach and engage staff to consistently exceed expectations while holding team members accountable through progressive discipline. Familiarity with sanitation regulations specific to the State of Hawaii Department of Health and Ecosure compliance is essential for this role.\n\nWith a salary range of $86,000 to $91,000 per year, this full-time position offers significant benefits, including 401k contributions, medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as perks like complimentary accommodations at Four Seasons properties globally and onsite parking. Candidates must have previous experience as a Food & Beverage department head, preferably within a luxury hospitality environment. Strong leadership skills, adaptability, and experience with inventory management, including proficiency in Excel and Microsoft systems, are key to success. Job Duties

  • Work closely with Front of House, Kitchens and Banquets to understand, coordinate, and plan daily needs with agility and flexibility
  • Ensure the organization of a high volume of different china, glass, and silver items
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleaning procedures
  • Take a hands-on approach with staff engagement to lead the team to exceed expectations
  • Hold team members accountable through progressive discipline
  • Maintain compliance with the State of Hawaii Department of Health and Ecosure
