About the Role
BetMGM is seeking an Executive Sports Host, primarily for its Michigan location, to play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing long-term customer loyalty. This hybrid position involves providing exceptional customer service and support through various communication channels such as phone, email, and text messaging. The Executive Sports Host will focus on a defined segment of players, offering a direct point of contact for player inquiries, problem resolution, and promotion support.
This position is crucial for supporting campaigns aimed at improving the customer experience, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and collaborating with different departments to resolve player issues effectively. The role requires a detailed knowledge of BetMGM's products, services, and promotions, and demands a high level of professionalism, integrity, and honesty. Additionally, the Executive Sports Host will participate in in-person hosting duties for events, private suites, and MGM properties, enhancing the player experience beyond the digital platform.
The ideal candidate will be sales-driven, detail-oriented, analytically curious, and capable of working independently while providing top-tier customer service. Experience in land-based casino marketing and VIP hosting, especially within sports betting, is highly preferred. Familiarity with backend systems such as BetScroller, Trading Dashboard, P-reports, CSM, Geocomply, Backoffice, and Power BI is essential.
The position offers an annual salary range of $58,560 to $82,110, with the potential for performance-based bonuses, reflecting factors such as geography, skills, and experience. Employment eligibility requires legal authorization to work in the U.S., and candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license from the relevant jurisdictions. Job Requirements
- ability to gain and maintain a gaming license through the proper jurisdictions
- 2+ years of relevant hosting experience
- experience in casino marketing or a related environment
- excellent knowledge of sports betting
- strong communication skills
- computer literacy especially with excel
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- legal authorization to work in the u.s. without sponsorship
Job Qualifications
- ability to gain and maintain a gaming license through the proper jurisdictions as a condition of hire and continued employment
- 2+ years of vip hosting experience preferred, including but not limited to sports vip
- hosting experience in land-based casino marketing environment
- excellent knowledge of sports betting required
- sales driven, computer literate with an emphasis on excel, excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette
- detail oriented with effective time management skills and the ability to produce results while working under pressure
- the ability to work independently, offer top tier customer service and identify customer trigger points
- analytically curious with the ability to think outside the box to resolve issues quickly and effectively
- expert in back-end systems such as betscroller, trading dashboard, p-reports, csm, geocomply, backoffice, and power bi
Job Duties
- supporting campaigns to help improve customer experience on the site
- providing direct customer service through phone, email, and text messages
- offer service to players including but not limited to help solve problems, answer queries, support ongoing promotions
- liaise with different departments to implement solutions to customer issues
- thorough understanding of existing products, services, and initiatives available on the BetMGM platform
- ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and legislation, ensuring that all risks within areas of responsibility are identified and managed effectively
- fully comply with and uphold company expectations including policies, procedures, department goals and business strategy
- conducts themselves with the highest level of integrity and honesty
- in-person hosting for events, suites, and on-premise at MGM properties
