The Culinary Services Department at Freedom Square of Seminole is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Culinarian to join their expert culinary team. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment across multiple units, requiring adaptability and strong leadership skills. The Culinarian will assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, costing, and execution, while maintaining top-tier kitchen operations that meet health department standards. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- culinary education or two years college
- minimum of three years' experience in the culinary field, preferably in hotel, restaurant, or club settings
- one year of supervisory experience
- effective communication skills in English
- ability to understand and follow instructions
- knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance
- ServSafe certification

Job Duties
- assist the Executive Chef in planning, costing and executing all menus
- responsible for the direction of the department in the absence of the Executive Chef
- maintain the appearance, cleanliness and services of facility at or above Health Department standards through routine cleaning schedules
- inform the culinary leadership team of all activities and operational problems, making suggestions for improvement and corrections as needed
