Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior culinary leadership experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work full availability including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to upholding Hilton's values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership and urgency

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an Executive Sous Chef, Banquet Chef or Restaurant Chef
  • Proven expertise in menu planning and development of standard operating procedures
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for culinary innovation and guest satisfaction
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in the direction and oversight of all culinary operations to include preparation and production of all hotel meals and food quality and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation standards and regulations
  • Support team member productivity and performance through supervision, counseling, training, and scheduling
  • Interact with guests and clients to monitor satisfaction trends and address issues
  • Create and implement menu selections for banquets and special events based on current food trends
  • Enforce compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Monitor and develop team member performance including evaluations, recognition and reward
