The Executive Sous Chef role at Hilton is pivotal in maintaining and elevating the culinary excellence that guests expect. Job Requirements

  • Culinary diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a culinary supervisory role
  • Knowledge of health safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven experience in a supervisory culinary role preferably in a hotel or large-scale food service environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety health regulations and sanitation standards
  • Ability to develop innovative menus and manage food costs
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Proficiency in operational management and process improvement

Job Duties

  • Assist in overseeing day-to-day culinary operations managing meal preparation and production ensuring high standards of food quality presentation cost controls and profitability
  • Enhance menu offerings partnering with Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director to develop and execute menus for special banquets and events incorporating food trends and regional flavors
  • Engage with guests and clients to gather feedback identify trends and support Executive Chef in enhancing dining experience
  • Assist in managing and refining kitchen systems processes and workflows to maintain seamless operations
