This role plays a critical part in supporting the Executive Chef by managing daily culinary operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, refining and executing recipes, training kitchen staff, maintaining kitchen safety and cleanliness, and ensuring the consistent production of high-quality food. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $95,000 per year, along with an impressive benefits package.

Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant culinary experience
  • At least 2 years in a sous chef or leadership position
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
  • Proven leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage food cost and labor control
  • Experience working in fast-paced, upscale dining environment
  • Familiarity with OSHA and local health regulations
  • Capability to handle physical demands including prolonged standing and occasional lifting up to 40lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume, fine-dining kitchen
  • At least 2 years in a sous chef or similar leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary culinary techniques and upscale menu development
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Proven experience managing food costs and labor control
