As part of Marriott International's distinguished portfolio, The Ritz-Carlton prides itself on delivering the highest standards of hospitality, with over 100 award-winning properties globally. The establishment values diversity, promoting an inclusive environment where every associate's unique background, talents, and experience are celebrated. At The Ritz-Carlton, employees are empowered to be creative, thoughtful, and compassionate, fostering a culture that drives success and ensures memorable experiences for every guest. The company is committed to equal opportunity employment and non-discrimination, reinforcing its reputation as a leader in luxury hospitality.

This role is a full-time management position within The Ritz-Carlton's food and beverage department, offering an annual salary range between $90,000 and $117,000 with eligibility for bonuses. The position involves demonstrating culinary expertise by directly performing tasks while leading and managing all food-related functions across the property. Responsibilities include overseeing kitchen operations in various areas such as banquets, room service, restaurants, bars, lounges, and the employee cafeteria, as well as support functions like dishwashing and purchasing.

The ideal candidate will focus on continually improving guest and employee satisfaction, maximizing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with sanitation and food standards. This hands-on leadership role requires the ability to supervise kitchen staff, provide training, and set performance expectations, all while maintaining open communication, fostering teamwork, and acting as a role model. The culinary manager will guide menu development, monitor food quality and presentation, and enforce safety and handling standards to uphold The Ritz-Carlton's Gold Standards, which emphasize gracious and thoughtful service.

In addition to operational excellence, the manager will participate in budgeting processes, control department expenses, and ensure staffing levels meet guest service and financial objectives. They will respond to guest feedback, manage complaints, and empower employees to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The role also involves human resource activities such as coaching, mentoring, administering performance appraisals, conducting disciplinary procedures, and collaborating with catering and banquet teams on training and menu knowledge.

Joining The Ritz-Carlton means becoming part of a global team dedicated to luxury and excellence. Employees take pride in their work and are given opportunities to grow professionally while contributing to an environment where exceptional guest experiences are the norm. This leadership role is vital in maintaining the brand's reputation and ensuring that every guest interaction reflects the highest level of service and hospitality excellence.
