Responsibilities extend to planning and inventory management, supporting cost controls, and playing an active role in rolling out new culinary programs in collaboration with marketing and culinary teams. This role offers a salary range of $60,000 to $65,000 and is eligible for an employee referral bonus, reflecting the company’s commitment to rewarding talent and fostering a collaborative work environment. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or associate's degree in culinary arts or related field
  • 3-5 years of culinary experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of food cost management
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and email
  • Ability to work in high volume foodservice environments
  • Experience with institutional and batch cooking
  • Commitment to maintaining kitchen safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Culinary Arts, Food Services Technology, Management or related field, or A.O.S. degree in Culinary Arts with additional specialized training
  • 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and oral/written communication skills
  • Knowledge of food cost and quality identification
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, email, and Internet
  • Experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations preferred
  • Institutional and batch cooking experience helpful

Job Duties

  • Coordinate activities of kitchen personnel engaged in food preparation
  • Ensure high quality food items are creatively prepared and presented cost-effectively
  • Assist in planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation
  • Support management of cost controls and control expenditures
  • Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams
  • Supervise cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the kitchen
  • Perform other duties as assigned
