This leadership role is ideal for a culinary expert who thrives in a mission-driven environment and is passionate about creating memorable dining experiences through culinary innovation. As Executive Sous Chef, you will be responsible for leading both pastry and savory teams, driving menu creativity, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service delivery. Your role will directly influence guest and team member engagement as well as the financial performance of the culinary department. You will work closely with team members to foster a collaborative and inspiring work environment that prioritizes exceptional service and respects sustainability.

The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or luxury hotel industry. We value expertise in culinary operations and the ability to develop and implement unique, locally-sourced menus that captivate the guests. As a strong communicator, you should excel in both verbal and written forms, enabling effective team leadership and development. Flexibility to operate within a 24-hour business environment is essential, along with a genuine passion for food and a commitment to continuous culinary growth. A post-secondary diploma or degree in culinary arts or a related field is considered an asset but not mandatory.

Joining Starwood Hotels means becoming part of a global family that values thoughtful, inspiring individuals who contribute to the company’s commitment to excellence, sustainability, and community. This is an exceptional opportunity to grow your culinary career in a supportive environment that encourages innovation and leadership.
