  • Proven leadership and team management abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Culinary education or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to train and mentor culinary staff
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage the culinary team effectively
  • Supervise and lead the culinary team toward ultimate guest satisfaction by continually training and coaching
  • Responsible for the entire food operation of the hotel ensuring quality standards are maintained
  • Ensure that all food is attractively presented according to The Peninsula Beverly Hills standards
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth back of house operations
  • Manage inventory and food costs to optimize profitability
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
